Bost Conference Center

Bost Conference Center provides flexible event space on the Mississippi State University campus in Mississippi. The venue is designed for organisers planning conferences, conventions, lectures, seminars, workshops, meetings, career fairs, educational programmes and banquets.

The centre offers more than 6,500 square feet of usable meeting space, with several room formats to suit different event plans. Its theatre has fixed seating for 217 guests, a stage, sound booth and digital projection. The North and South Auditoriums can each accommodate up to 350 people in lecture-style seating, while classroom and banquet layouts are also available. For larger gatherings, the full auditorium can seat up to 750 guests in a lecture arrangement, 320 in classroom format or 500 for a banquet.

Event organisers can request use of the lobby for registration and refreshments, subject to availability alongside other activities. The South Auditorium is positioned next to a kitchen area for meal preparation and catering arrangements. Built-in projection and sound systems support presentations, talks, training sessions and panel programmes, while additional equipment, furniture, podiums and staging can be requested as part of the reservation process.

Located behind the Bost Extension Building and close to the Barnes & Noble bookstore, the centre is convenient for university-linked events and approved external organisations. Reservations are handled in advance through a formal request process, with room selection, seating arrangements, equipment needs and event timings confirmed with the venue coordinator. The facility also provides policies covering setup, catering, decorations, technical equipment, parking and event staffing, helping organisers plan their use of the space clearly and efficiently.
