Mac Bernd Professional Development Center

Mac Bernd Professional Development Center is a dedicated training and meeting facility operated by Arlington Independent School District in Arlington, Texas. The centre provides a practical setting for professional learning, educational programmes, board meetings, workshops, seminars and selected community events.

The venue contains 13 rooms in a range of sizes, accommodating groups from around 15 to 320 participants. This makes it suitable for smaller training sessions, committee meetings and presentations, as well as larger conferences, staff development days and organised learning events. Rooms are equipped with audio-visual systems to support presenters, instructors and facilitators, helping organisers deliver talks, workshops and training programmes without needing to arrange all presentation technology separately.

The centre hosts a substantial programme of Arlington ISD sessions and special events throughout the year. It also works with approved community and non-profit partners whose activities support Arlington ISD students or staff. Saturday training sessions and special events may be available by request, subject to availability. Facility requests are reviewed through the district’s reservation process, with use governed by Arlington ISD requirements and operating times.

Event organisers considering the centre should note that it is not a general public venue available for unrestricted private hire. Bookings are focused on Arlington ISD activities, school events and recognised community partners. For eligible organisations, the facility offers a well-organised, education-focused environment with adaptable rooms, presentation technology and an experienced on-site team supporting training and meeting use.
