Camp Mikell

Camp Mikell is a year-round conference and retreat centre set across 460 acres in the North Georgia mountains near Toccoa. Surrounded by woodland, valleys, waterfalls and Little Toccoa Creek, the site offers organisers a peaceful setting for conferences, parish retreats, board meetings, educational programmes, weddings and group getaways.

The centre combines event space with on-site accommodation and dining, making it suitable for residential gatherings where delegates can stay, meet and eat in one location. Accommodation includes the Bishop Childs Retreat Village, Upper Cottages and dormitories, with capacity for a range of group sizes. Meals can be included in residential packages, with menus offering breakfasts, lunches and dinners, together with vegetarian and gluten-free options when arranged in advance.

Organisers can choose from several meeting areas. The Old Dining Hall provides a rustic setting with hardwood floors, a fireplace and stage. The modern conference centre beside Little Toccoa Creek includes a divisible meeting room, private facilities, a fireplace, covered outdoor space and a wrap-around porch. Walthour offers a more compact room for groups of around 50 people. The team can arrange tables and chairs in different layouts to suit the programme.

Additional facilities include a chapel, outdoor areas and access to nature-based and educational activities. Camp Mikell works with religious, community, educational and business groups, offering a flexible environment for structured meetings, reflective retreats, team gatherings and special celebrations.
