Walnut Community Room

Walnut Community Room is a modern community venue in Corvallis, Oregon, offering a comfortable setting for meetings, workshops, informal parties, family reunions and other small-to-medium gatherings. The room accommodates up to 77 guests and provides a practical, self-contained layout for organisers who need a straightforward space in a peaceful setting.

Large windows on two sides bring in natural light and overlook surrounding woodland and meadow areas. The room features exposed pine beams, a stained concrete floor, climate control, ceiling fans and an in-room sink with potable water. Accessible toilets, wheelchair-friendly facilities and several electrical outlets support a range of event requirements.

Organisers can make use of folding and stacking chairs, folding tables, a projection screen and two large whiteboards. Wi-Fi is available through the CVO Guest network, while the site provides 25 parking spaces, including accessible spaces. The venue is located close to Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, giving guests convenient access to walking trails, sports fields and a children's play area.

Rental availability runs from 8 am to 10 pm, with a one-hour minimum booking. The space can also accommodate events where alcohol is served, subject to an alcohol permit and proof of liability insurance. Walnut Community Room is managed through Corvallis Parks & Recreation, whose team handles reservations, access arrangements and event-related requirements.
