The Columbus State Conference Center

The Columbus State Conference Center provides flexible, professionally supported spaces for meetings, seminars, conferences, training days, receptions and other organised events in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Located within Columbus State Community College, the centre combines practical facilities with an experienced conference and event services team that works with organisers on room selection, layouts and event requirements.

The venue offers approximately 13,000 square feet of adaptable space on one convenient level. Its rooms can accommodate a wide range of formats, from small board meetings and workshops to large presentations, conferences and dining events for several hundred guests. The main ballroom can host up to 400 people in theatre style, 300 for dining or 250 in a classroom arrangement. Smaller rooms are available for breakout sessions, training groups, private discussions and committee meetings.

Event facilities include ceiling-mounted projectors and screens in most rooms, complimentary wireless internet and individual climate control. The ballroom features tall windows, motorised sunshades and touch-panel lighting controls, giving organisers useful flexibility when planning the atmosphere and technical set-up. A gallery space is also available for receptions, theatre seating and trade show booths.

The Conference Center team can assist with planning and venue arrangements, while organisers can work with approved caterers for food and refreshments. The wider Conference and Event Services department also manages event space at Mitchell Hall, offering additional capacity for receptions, banquets, weddings and corporate functions. Its central Columbus location, nearby parking options and range of room configurations make it suitable for educational programmes, business events, community gatherings and private celebrations.
