Old Oak Ranch

Old Oak Ranch is a 160-acre camp and retreat centre in the Sierra Nevada foothills near Sonora, California. The property welcomes churches, businesses, families, schools and non-profit organisations looking for a dedicated setting for conferences, retreats, camps and group gatherings.

The site combines meeting facilities, overnight accommodation and outdoor activities, allowing organisers to plan multi-day programmes in one location. Its largest meeting space, the Booth Worship Center Main Meeting Room, accommodates more than 600 guests. Additional rooms for smaller groups, breakout sessions and workshops include meeting spaces for approximately 100 to 200 people. Outdoor options include amphitheatres, fire-pit areas and open-air gathering spaces, with tables, chairs and selected audio-visual equipment available for meetings and presentations.

Accommodation is provided in a range of cabins, bunk houses and lodge rooms. Depending on the booking, groups can use facilities such as Duncan Lodge, Hilltop Lodge, Oak and Redwood bunk houses, Pine and Manzanita bunk houses and other on-site sleeping areas. Some rooms include private bathrooms, while other accommodation is arranged in shared bunk-style layouts.

Groups can also add activities to their programme, including ropes courses, a zipline, climbing wall, paintball, gold panning, archery, hatchet throwing, swimming, sports, campfires and guided experiences connected with the local Gold Rush heritage. Meal packages and catering arrangements can be included as part of selected camp programmes.

With its combination of flexible meeting areas, group accommodation, recreation and planning support, Old Oak Ranch is suited to faith-based retreats, leadership gatherings, company camps, educational trips, conferences and residential group events.
