The International Meeting Center of TU Dortmund, or IBZ for short, is an event venue on the North Campus in Dortmund. The facilities are particularly suitable for international conferences, specialist events, seminars, workshops, receptions, cultural events, and academic meetings. Use for private celebrations, dances, parties, and general festivities is not permitted.

The centerpiece is an event hall with a capacity of up to 199 people. Depending on the seating arrangement, it can accommodate approximately 150 people. Equipment includes a projector and screen, wireless microphones, a gooseneck microphone, a mobile lectern, a mobile ramp, and a grand piano. Two additional seminar areas are available for smaller groups. The larger seminar room can be divided and accommodates up to 30 people, while seminar room 1 is designed for approximately 15 participants. Projectors, whiteboards, flip charts, pinboards, and a mobile touchboard support seminars and workshops.

The bright foyer can be used for receptions and accompanying events. A separately bookable catering kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee machine, kettle, as well as dishes and cutlery. The building is wheelchair accessible and easily reached by public transport.

Events with an international focus will be given priority. External organizers can submit a reservation request and book the rooms for a usage fee. Technical support, room setup, and the organization of catering and event logistics are the responsibility of the organizer.
