Stockport Meeting House

Stockport Meeting House is a flexible, accessible venue in central Stockport, offering practical space for meetings, workshops, training sessions, community activities and smaller private or business events. Located close to Stockport railway station and just off the A6, the venue is convenient for local groups and organisers bringing guests from across Greater Manchester.

The building has two hireable rooms. The larger meeting room can accommodate up to 60 people and includes a ceiling-mounted data projector, retractable screen, hearing loop, piano and additional tables and chairs. The smaller room seats up to 20 people and can work well for focused meetings, breakout sessions, interviews, support groups or children’s activities. Organisers can hire either room separately or, subject to availability, take exclusive use of the whole building.

Room hire includes access to a spacious foyer and a well-equipped kitchen with sinks, cooker, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery. Hirers provide their own refreshments, while more substantial catering arrangements can be discussed in advance.
