Corwin Pavilion

Corwin Pavilion is a flexible conference and event venue at the University of California, Santa Barbara, offering organisers a distinctive setting beside the UCSB Lagoon and close to the Pacific Ocean. The venue is designed for conferences, lectures, seminars, banquets, receptions, vendor fairs and other large-scale gatherings that require adaptable indoor and outdoor space.

The main pavilion provides nearly 6,000 square feet of open, multipurpose event space. It can accommodate up to 600 guests in a lecture-style layout, with alternative arrangements available for classroom sessions, banquets and other formats. A soundproof dividing wall allows the room to be separated into two sections, making it suitable for simultaneous presentations, workshops or breakout activities. Organisers can also make use of seven additional meeting rooms, which can be booked individually for smaller meetings or combined with Corwin Pavilion as breakout rooms for larger conferences.

Outside, Lagoon Plaza adds an attractive open-air setting for receptions, banquets, networking sessions and informal event moments, with views across the lagoon. The venue supports a range of practical event requirements through built-in presentation facilities, projection screens, podiums, microphones, whiteboards and additional audiovisual equipment available for hire. Standard house packages help simplify planning and room preparation.

Catering is available through UCSB Campus Catering, with menu and service options suitable for meetings, conferences, receptions and formal dinners. Event organisers can submit requests with their preferred date, room, layout, attendance, catering and equipment needs.
