Burgess Hall

Burgess Hall is a versatile event venue in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, offering flexible spaces for corporate functions, conferences, exhibitions, weddings, private parties and live entertainment. Located around 20 minutes from Cambridge, the venue is conveniently positioned for guests travelling by road and provides free on-site parking.

The venue includes more than 11,000 square feet of adaptable event space across four main areas. The fully air-conditioned Main Hall can accommodate up to 500 guests in theatre style, 350 guests in cabaret format and up to 350 diners, depending on the chosen layout. It is suitable for conferences, seminars, award ceremonies, gala dinners, exhibitions, product launches, networking events, charity functions and large celebrations. A raised stage, professional lighting, PA equipment, projection screens and technical support help organisers deliver polished presentations and performances.

Additional spaces include a Drama Studio, Balcony Area, Committee Suite and Boardroom. These rooms can be used for workshops, breakout sessions, smaller meetings, rehearsals, presentations and intimate gatherings. Organisers can also hire the full venue exclusively for larger events requiring several zones.

Burgess Hall has licensed bars, on-site catering facilities and access to trusted external suppliers. Its wedding offering includes licensed civil ceremonies, reception facilities, seated meals, buffets, private catering options, evening entertainment and dance-floor arrangements for up to 250 wedding guests. The venue also supports birthdays, anniversaries, engagement parties, awards nights and other milestone celebrations, with an experienced team available to help shape layouts and event arrangements.
