Camp Indianola

Camp Indianola is a year-round retreat centre, outdoor education facility and summer camp set beside the beautiful Salish Sea in Indianola, Washington. Within easy reach of Seattle and the surrounding Puget Sound area, it gives organisations and groups the opportunity to step away from everyday routines and spend meaningful time together in a peaceful natural setting.

For event organisers, Camp Indianola offers group rentals for retreats, team-building programmes, church gatherings, educational trips, family camps and other non-profit or community events. The site combines practical indoor spaces with access to woodland, waterfront and open-air activities, making it suitable for programmes that benefit from both focused sessions and time outdoors.

Accommodation is provided across six lodges, with capacity for up to 105 guests. Options range from shared bunk-style accommodation to more private lodge arrangements, with selected buildings offering kitchens, bathrooms, meeting rooms, living areas, decks and accessible facilities. Driftwood Lodge includes a large meeting room and kitchen, while Madrona Lodge provides two meeting rooms and a substantial outdoor deck. The main dining hall, Evergreen Commons, can also be used as meeting space for larger groups when available.

Groups can build a retreat programme around hiking, kayaking, waterfront exploration, nature activities and challenge-course experiences. The setting is well suited to leadership retreats, planning sessions, reflection days and team connection, while the camp’s staff can help organisers discuss facilities, dates and tailored arrangements. Panoramic views across Puget Sound, along with nearby forest trails and beaches, create a relaxed backdrop for gatherings that combine productive meetings with restoration, conversation and shared experiences.
