Konzerthalle Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach

Konzerthalle Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach is a distinctive cultural and event venue on the Oder riverfront in Frankfurt (Oder). Housed in a former Franciscan church, it brings together historic Gothic architecture, a high vaulted interior and the atmosphere of an established concert house. The venue is particularly well suited to classical concerts, choral performances, guest productions, award ceremonies, formal occasions, balls and corporate celebrations.

Its principal hall provides an impressive setting for sizeable audiences and gala-style events, combining a large stage with a notable Sauer organ and a carefully preserved architectural character. Organisers can also plan more intimate formats in the chamber music hall, upper foyer and club room, while the open-air atrium offers an atmospheric option for selected outdoor receptions and events. Across the spaces, layouts can accommodate seated performances, banquets, receptions and meeting-style arrangements.

The in-house team supports organisers with venue planning, technical coordination, professional lighting and sound, and ticketing for cultural guest events. Practical facilities include backstage rooms, artist areas, loading access and foyer space for guest arrivals. The central Frankfurt (Oder) location is accessible by road and public transport, with the tram stop at Topfmarkt nearby.

Please note that the concert hall is currently undergoing comprehensive refurbishment and cannot presently be used as an event location. The works are expected to continue until summer 2028. Enquiries are nevertheless welcomed, with the venue team able to advise on future hire opportunities and suitable alternative locations.
