La Machine

La Machine is a steampunk cocktail bar on Place Saint-Géry, in the heart of Brussels, three minutes from the Stock Exchange. A working barrel organ, barrels of gears, a winged creature on the ceiling, a glass dome, a Chesterfield smoking room in the basement: the decor is constructed piece by piece, and that is what people remember. Since 2016, we have also hosted corporate events here, in four spaces that can be rented privately, either separately or together.

La Lodge accommodates up to 20 guests: a private salon for an executive committee, a client reception, or a farewell party for an employee. Le Boudoir accommodates up to 30 guests, with its own bar and bartender – it is the only space where you are allowed to bring your own music or DJ, and together with Le Fumoir next door, the total capacity is 42 guests. The Ground Floor seats 80 to 100 guests under the glass roof, with a microphone, projector, and screen on-site. The entire venue accommodates up to 150 guests: two bars, one address.

Four packages. The two-hour after-work event with unlimited drinks, from €23 excl. VAT per guest during the week. Private hire, with a minimum spend that is fully deducted. Daytime workshops and seminars, with the bar closed to the public, screen and microphone included. And the cocktail masterclass, where your team takes the stage behind the bar – the cocktail created remains on our menu afterwards, under your team's name.

We work primarily during the week and with daytime events: those are the times when we can offer true privatization, and not a reserved zone in a bar that remains open to the public.
