Community Centre De Schalm is the socio-cultural heart of De Meern (Utrecht). Since its founding in 1973, De Schalm has been an accessible meeting place where culture, relaxation, and conviviality bring young and old together in the heart of De Meern. Furthermore, due to its convenient location, De Schalm offers opportunities for national gatherings.

We have a good relationship with our regular visitors, and new guests are quickly welcomed into our community. Together with the volunteers, our permanent team ensures a pleasant atmosphere at the bar, provides information, handles room rentals, ensures hygiene, manages administration, and maintains the building.
