The Mansion Austin

Since opening its doors in 1931, the majestic TFWC Mansion has been a favorite place to entertain and celebrate. In addition to wedding ceremonies and receptions, the Mansion hosts banquets, parties, concerts, and dances. Here, you can have the flexibility of creating your own event. The Mansion is happy to recommend caterers, florists, and music groups. However, you're also free to choose your own. When organizing an event, you can choose between 3 different spaces, the Grand Ballroom, the Georgian Tea Room, and the Classic Garden Courtyard. You may use the 4,000 square feet Grand Ballroom for both a ceremony and reception for up to 300 guests and a band or DJ can set up on the large curtained stage. The room is dramatically illuminated with vintage bronze and crystal wall sconces. The Georgian Tea Room is basically a ballroom in miniature, with tall, elegant windows and a vaulted ceiling. It's an intimate setting for a ceremony for up to 144 guests. Last, but not least, there's the Classic Garden Courtyard. Features include a babbling stone fountain, Greek-style pergola, and seasonal flowering plants. Accessed from the ballroom, it seats 160 guests for an intimate ceremony. The Garden Courtyard can also be set up as an extension to the Grand Ballroom for an indoor and outdoor reception.
