This week we attended Tourism Flanders' learning networking event, along with colleagues from the Flanders Heritage Venues network.

The beautiful St. Peter's Abbey in Ghent provided the setting for an inspiring day full of knowledge sharing, new insights, and encounters with venues from all over Flanders.

The recent conference research provided interesting insights into sustainability, accessibility, and the advantages that Belgian cities have to offer as conference locations.

One of our cities' greatest assets? The walkability of our cities. Conference venues are often located in the city center, meaning hotels, restaurants, and activities are all within walking distance of each other.

We also met some new members within the network and participated in inspiring workshops on heritage, communication and pricing.

The Flanders Heritage Venues network brings together unique heritage locations that put Flanders on the international map as a destination for unique conferences and events. We're proud to be part of this network and eager to continue learning from each other. 🤝
