The Tudor Barn Belstead

The Tudor Barn Belstead is a family-run wedding venue set among restored farm buildings and rural grounds near Ipswich. Couples can hire the venue exclusively for an extended celebration, with the current offer including 46 hours of private use. The historic barn and surrounding spaces provide a distinctive setting for ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions, with capacity for up to 150 guests at the wedding breakfast and 250 at the reception.

Ceremony options include an indoor room above the main barn and an outdoor woodland setting. The venue also offers spaces for drinks, dining and dancing, along with a dressing room for the wedding party. A dedicated venue team helps couples prepare, discuss layouts and coordinate the details, including the ceremony and seating arrangements. There is time for set-up before the wedding, and couples can return afterwards to collect their belongings.

Food is provided through a choice of recommended independent caterers, with different menus and budgets available. A staffed bar serves drinks, and bespoke cocktails and other options can be arranged. Couples can personalise the setting and choose suppliers to suit their plans, while the venue team provides guidance during preparation and on the day.

Alongside weddings, the venue also promotes corporate days, making its historic buildings and grounds available for organiser-led occasions. Located in the Suffolk countryside close to Ipswich, The Tudor Barn Belstead combines a characterful rural setting with dedicated event spaces and practical support for planning a gathering.
