Max Power Rent was founded in 1998 by CJ Otten from TCM-Studio in Waalwijk. As the demand for audiovisual services outside the studio grew, he decided to start a separate company, specialized in on-site sound engineering projects. Pernel van Herpt soon became involved in the story because of her earlier commitment to the company. Given her training and accumulated experience in theater and her specialization in the field of light, she was the perfect addition to the team. Since that time, CJ and Pernel have worked together on various productions in the theater and at various locations in the Netherlands and abroad, both for direct customers and for fellow companies. Since January 1, 2001, all activities of Max Power Rent and TCM-Studio have been merged into KLA Otten BV, whereby the name TCM-Studio was discontinued and Max Power Rent Technische Realisatie became the trade name of everything related to audiovisual services. To date, Max Power Rent has proven to be very strong in devising, guiding and executing special, more complex events. A specialty that is regularly used by a number of colleagues to give their assignments just that added value.
