The Ohio State University Faculty Club

The Ohio State University Faculty Club offers event planners a historic venue in the heart of the university campus, close to the Oval and Mirror Lake. Its private event spaces suit weddings, receptions, business meetings, departmental gatherings, family celebrations and other occasions. The club welcomes non-members for private events as well as serving its membership community.

The building offers several distinct settings across three floors, allowing organisers to choose spaces with different atmospheres for ceremonies, meals and receptions. The Grand Lounge provides a prominent indoor setting, while the patio and courtyard bring an outdoor option with views across the campus. For weddings, the club offers indoor and outdoor ceremony choices, reception space, a dedicated venue coordinator and planning support. Its wedding offering is designed for celebrations of up to 200 guests.

Food and drink are provided by the club's own culinary and service teams. Planners can discuss customised menus, served dinners, buffets and reception-style catering, along with bar arrangements. Standard linens, china, flatware and glassware are available, and the venue can also provide basic audio-visual equipment and complimentary Wi-Fi. Event staff can advise on the most suitable room and help coordinate practical details, from menus to the event schedule.

Set within a university setting with established hospitality facilities, the Faculty Club can accommodate occasions ranging from intimate gatherings to larger functions. Organisers can contact the sales and catering team to discuss availability, event requirements and room options. The venue's historic interiors, campus surroundings and combination of event planning, catering and event spaces make it a distinctive choice for weddings and other gatherings in Columbus.
