Cleeve House

Cleeve House is a countryside manor venue in Seend, Wiltshire, available for weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings and retreats. Organisers can hire the house for exclusive use, making it possible to bring guests together across its function rooms, grounds and on-site accommodation.

The Great Hall, with its oak panelling and high ceiling, provides a characterful setting for ceremonies, dining and celebrations. The adjoining Salisbury Room offers additional space and views over the surrounding countryside, while the Library gives guests a quieter place to relax. A licensed bar and tea room adds a social hub, and the venue can work with your chosen caterer on room layouts and catering arrangements. The kitchen and event spaces are suited to catering for groups of up to 120.

For weddings, the house has licensed ceremony rooms, reception spaces and a bridal suite. The gardens and wider grounds offer outdoor settings and photo opportunities, with marquee options also available. Beyond weddings, the venue welcomes birthday and anniversary parties, Christmas gatherings, corporate functions, away days, retreats and wakes.

Nine bedrooms provide overnight accommodation for guests, with capacity varying according to room arrangements. On-site parking is available, and the rural setting is within reach of Melksham, Devizes and Trowbridge. Cleeve House suits organisers seeking a historic, private venue where event spaces, accommodation and a welcoming bar are together in one countryside location.
