The Barn, Ringwood

The Barn, Ringwood is a purpose-built performance venue in Hampshire, offering a professional setting for live shows and the people who bring them to the stage. Its programme includes live music, theatre, comedy, family performances and guest speakers, with touring artists and promoters using the venue to present their productions to local audiences.

The auditorium can accommodate up to 500 people seated or 600 standing. Retractable seating allows the room to be arranged for different performances, while the stage, sound, lighting and projection systems support a range of live productions. The technical facilities include professional audio and lighting equipment, cinema projection and a large screen. Venue technical staff can assist with production requirements, and additional equipment may be arranged when needed.

The Barn is based within the grounds of Ringwood School, but operates as a public-facing performance venue with its own programme and box office. Accessibility features include level access to the front stalls and seating that can be adapted for wheelchair users. An on-site bar serves drinks and light snacks, though full food service is not available.

This is a venue for touring shows and organised performances, rather than a room available for general private or commercial hire. The Barn states that it does not offer private hire to individuals or commercial groups. Event planners and promoters considering a performance can contact the team to discuss presenting a show, technical arrangements and ticketing through the venue's box office.
