Bent's Opera House

Bent's Opera House offers event planners a distinctive historic setting in the heart of Medina, New York. Built in 1865 and carefully restored, the landmark brings together an ornate ballroom, original stage, mezzanine and period architectural details, with modern facilities for celebrations and gatherings.

Weddings are a central part of the venue's offering. Couples can hold a ceremony and reception in the Opera House, with the stage available for an intimate ceremony, a head table or a first dance. Separate areas include the Green Room, a private space for getting ready, the Box Seat and the wraparound mezzanine, which can be used for photographs, a DJ set-up or other parts of the celebration. The venue also offers wedding packages and in-house coordination support.

Planning a wedding here can bring several elements together under one roof. Harvest Restaurant and Bar provides on-site food and drinks, with menus that can be tailored for wedding events. The boutique hotel offers themed guest rooms for overnight stays, while the building's lounge and convenient downtown location give guests places to relax before or after the occasion.

Beyond weddings, the restored ballroom and historic rooms provide an atmospheric option for private celebrations and other gatherings. Event planners can discuss the layout, food, bar service and accommodation with the in-house team. Bent's Opera House combines the character of a nineteenth-century performance space with the practical advantage of a hotel and restaurant at the same address, making it a memorable setting for events in Western New York.
