Tramshed Cardiff

Tramshed Cardiff is a live music and entertainment venue available for hire in a converted former tram depot. Its main room hosts concerts and shows, and the venue also welcomes club nights, private celebrations and corporate events. Organisers can enquire about hiring the space for a live performance, a club event or a private or business function.

The venue offers several distinct spaces to suit different formats and group sizes. The main room is listed for standing audiences of up to 1,000. The Balcony Bar can be arranged for up to 80 standing guests, around 70 in theatre-style seating or 70 in a casual seated layout. The Waiting Room accommodates up to 60 standing guests, while the cinema provides fixed seating for 46. This choice of rooms makes it possible to consider different layouts and scales, from an intimate presentation or screening to a larger show or party.

Tramshed is in Cardiff, within reach of Cardiff Central station and local bus services. The venue has level access, a lift between floors and accessible toilets, with an accessible viewing area for performances. Organisers can request the current technical specification and rate card when discussing a hire. Venue staff handle enquiries about private and corporate bookings, while live and club hire requests have separate contacts. With live music, club events and private hire all part of its offering, Tramshed provides event planners with a flexible performance-led setting in the city.
