The Veranstaltungszentrum im Schloss Köthen rents out rooms for business and private occasions. The historic palace complex offers several halls, foyers, an outdoor area and the Marstall for a range of event formats. The largest room, the Johann-Sebastian-Bach-Saal, is suitable for concerts, meetings and galas. Depending on the layout, it can accommodate up to 440 people. Smaller halls offer suitable options for seminars, family celebrations and events on a more intimate scale.

The rooms can be arranged with theatre-style, parliamentary-style or banquet seating, depending on the occasion. The technical facilities include a screen, projector, microphones and sound equipment, among other things. Some rooms also have a stage, a grand piano and air conditioning. Organisers can use the adjoining foyer areas for receptions and breaks. The venue also offers catering through Schlosskaffee and supports event planners with preparations and coordination on site.

The venue caters for organisers of meetings, conferences, concerts, talks, corporate events and private celebrations. Weddings are also mentioned as a possible occasion. The setting in the palace gives events a historic backdrop, while the halls cater for different group sizes and uses. For those travelling by car, parking is available nearby, including an underground car park and coach parking. This allows organisers to choose a room to suit the number of guests and the planned schedule, and to connect several areas of the palace complex if needed.
