Boxted Hall

Boxted Hall is a historic country house available for exclusive hire in the Suffolk countryside, set within 250 acres of parkland. Its heritage setting, gardens and private grounds make it a distinctive choice for couples planning a wedding, as well as families and groups arranging a birthday celebration or a weekend together.

For weddings, the house and grounds are reserved for the couple and their guests, with room to shape the day around their own plans. The venue can host dining for up to 80 guests inside the Hall, or a buffet-style reception for up to 120. Larger celebrations can make use of a marquee on the croquet lawn. Tables and chairs are included for up to 80 guests, and a wedding coordinator is part of the venue hire. A bridal suite is available for the night before and the night of the wedding.

The Hall has several reception rooms with period details, generous dining tables, comfortable seating and fireplaces. Nine en-suite bedrooms and further accommodation provide a place for guests to stay, with room for up to 26 people overall. For house parties and longer stays, guests can use the fitted kitchen to prepare their own meals or arrange a private chef. The house is offered for weekends and longer breaks throughout the year.

Boxted Hall is a self-catering venue rather than an in-house catering operation. For weddings and house parties, it provides lists of approved caterers and recommended suppliers, helping organisers find experienced providers while keeping the freedom to choose the arrangements that suit their occasion.
