The Design Thinking Collective provides design thinking workshops for teams and organisations: a half-day or a full day at your venue. Participants work together in a structured, human-centred way on a question of their own, and get to know each other better along the way.

What is design thinking? Design thinking is a human-centred, structured method for developing new solutions. You start with the people you are solving something for, explore lots of ideas before choosing one, and quickly make ideas tangible so you can test them. In our workshops, those people are the participants themselves. No made-up personas or fictional case studies, but a familiar question close to home.

The four phases

  1. Discover: using interviews and an empathy map, you discover what colleagues consider important and what they need.
  2. Define: the insights become one focused How-might-we question, with clear design criteria.
  3. Develop: lots of ideas, a well-founded choice and a quick prototype.
  4. Deliver: test, gather feedback and improve.

Four perspectives

  • Teams that want to get to know each other better: making something together lets you see each other from a different perspective.
  • Working more creatively: employees learn a structured, human-centred method for coming up with and developing new solutions, which they can already use the following week.
  • A relevant question for your team: develop effective onboarding together, or design the perfect team meeting? Together, we look at a question that suits your team.
  • Team days that deliver something: connection and a substantive result that benefits the organisation.

What participants take away: A developed and tested idea for their own question, the method to apply themselves, a workbook with all the tools and outcomes, and a new perspective on each other.

Tools: interview techniques, empathy map, clustering insights, How-might-we questions, brainstorming techniques, prioritising, prototyping, testing and iterating, making decisions as a team.

Practical information: a half-day (4 hours) or a full day (8 hours), in-company at a venue of your choice, for small and larger groups, in Dutch or English. From €1,750 excluding VAT.
