The Life Arts Center

The Life Arts Center is a historic event venue in downtown Riverside, California, offering characterful indoor spaces for weddings, receptions and other milestone celebrations. The building dates from 1909 and was designed by architect Arthur Benton. Its period features, including arched windows and exposed ceiling details, give organisers a distinctive setting for gatherings with a sense of history.

Two event spaces are available. Bella Manor is an intimate room of approximately 4,200 square feet, with capacity for up to 150 guests. Victoria Vault measures around 4,256 square feet and can accommodate up to 200. The open layouts allow each room to be arranged for different event styles, from a wedding reception or dinner to a meeting or celebration.

Event packages can include tables, chairs and on-the-day staff, such as a floor captain, bartender, busser, security personnel and cleaning staff. The venue offers in-house catering, while organisers may also bring an outside caterer. Bar arrangements include a client-hosted option, a venue-hosted bar and a cash bar. An on-site event coordinator can be added to help with logistics, and a bridal suite may be available depending on the booking.

Organisers can arrange a visit to explore the rooms and discuss their plans. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and its central Riverside location makes it a practical choice for couples and planners seeking a historic setting for a private or corporate event.
