Andover Barn

Andover Barn is a historic barn wedding venue in East Andover, New Hampshire, set among open land, woodland and views towards Highland Lake and Kearsarge Mountain. Couples can hold an outdoor ceremony beneath a post-and-beam arbor, then welcome guests into the barn for dinner and dancing. The venue combines original character with a flexible interior that can be styled to suit different wedding themes and personal preferences.

Built in 1902, the barn features original wooden floors, exposed beams, oversized doors, brass chandeliers and a historic stained-glass detail. A pavilion extension adds further covered space, and tables and chairs are available for gatherings of up to 100 guests. The grounds include seven acres around the inn and connect with a larger nature preserve, giving couples and guests room to enjoy the scenery and spend time outdoors. Parking is available on site.

An event manager is included to help guide the arrangements. Couples can select their own caterer, bar service, rental company, florist, decorator, photographer and band or DJ, allowing them to build a celebration around their preferred suppliers. The venue limits the number of weddings it hosts each year, offering a more individual approach to each booking.

The adjoining Highland Lake Inn provides six guest rooms, preparation suites and lounges, including a wedding suite for the couple. This gives the wedding party a place to get ready and offers overnight accommodation close to the ceremony and reception spaces.
