Sunshine Hollow

Sunshine Hollow is a wedding and reception venue in Athens, Tennessee, offering couples a choice of garden celebrations and an indoor ballroom. The outdoor ceremony space sits on a gently sloping lawn, with a flower-framed arch and a lake among the surrounding scenery. Gardens, trails and the grounds provide additional places for wedding photographs, and guests can explore the gardens during the occasion.

For indoor ceremonies, receptions or a weather backup, the venue has a climate-controlled, 5,000-square-foot reception hall. Its ballroom can seat up to 150 guests and be arranged with dining tables, a dance floor and space for a wedding party table. Dressing rooms are available for the couple, and the venue provides chairs and can help prepare the room to suit the celebration. Sunshine Hollow schedules one event per weekend, giving each booking exclusive use during its reserved time.

Couples can choose in-house catering, including hot buffet meals or lighter hors d'oeuvres. The bakery can also make wedding and groom's cakes. Families who prefer to prepare their own food are permitted to self-cater, subject to the venue's arrangements. The site welcomes weddings and receptions, as well as other events such as parties and reunions. Organisers can contact Sunshine Hollow to discuss dates, visit the property and arrange a booking. The venue is conveniently located between Knoxville and Chattanooga, with access from Interstate 75.
