Far Out Home Fittings

Far Out Home Fittings is an Austin vintage furniture boutique that also offers event staging and furniture rentals. Its distinctive mix of furnishings can help event planners add character to a venue, create a particular look or furnish a setting for a gathering, launch or celebration.

The shop's inventory includes sofas and loveseats, chairs, desks, coffee tables, bedroom pieces, dining and bar furniture, outdoor furniture, rugs and bookshelves. It also lists vintage audio equipment and assorted decorative finds. The selection changes, and the business says its online inventory galleries are updated regularly, giving organisers a way to browse available pieces before getting in touch.

For planners seeking an alternative to standard event furniture, the vintage and retro range may suit styled receptions, photo shoots, themed occasions and other events where furnishings contribute to the atmosphere. Event staging is also offered, so organisers can contact the team to discuss what might work for their space and requirements. The website does not detail rental packages, quantities, delivery arrangements for event orders or staging rates, so these are best confirmed directly when enquiring.

Based in South Austin, Far Out Home Fittings provides a local option for organisers looking for characterful furniture and event staging. Its regular retail inventory is broad, but specific pieces and availability can vary. Planners should check current stock and confirm the scope of any rental or staging service with the business before finalising their plans.
