The Creek Side Barn

The Creek Side Barn is a wedding venue in Gaines, Pennsylvania, set beside Pine Creek in the wooded landscape of the PA Wilds. Couples can celebrate in a restored barn with original timber features, hardwood floors and warm lighting, or hold an outdoor ceremony near the water. The barn accommodates up to 100 guests indoors, with extra space on its wraparound porch when the weather allows.

The venue is designed for celebrations that can unfold over a full weekend rather than a few hours. Couples can choose a one-night or two-night package, with time to prepare, welcome guests and enjoy the occasion at a comfortable pace. An on-site farmhouse sleeping up to 12 is included, and a second property is available as an optional accommodation upgrade. The team can also point guests towards nearby cabins and camping options.

Packages include tables and chairs, a bridal suite, a ceremony arch, drink and food-preparation equipment, outdoor games and access to a collection of reusable décor. Couples are welcome to select their own suppliers, and the venue provides a directory of local professionals for those who would like recommendations. Optional linen hire can be arranged through partner suppliers. The barn's indoor setting offers a weather-conscious option, while a local tent supplier can be contacted for larger gatherings.

Alongside wedding ceremonies and receptions, the property can suit related gatherings such as rehearsal dinners, pre-wedding brunches, showers and elopements. The venue team offers private tours, helps couples review available dates and supports planning for the wedding weekend. Its flexible setting, accommodation and vendor policy give organisers room to shape a celebration around their own preferences.
