Istead AV

Spotlight Streaming Studio is a bookable Coventry studio for organisers producing virtual and hybrid events. Operated by Istead AV, it provides a dedicated physical setting for online conferences, company presentations, training sessions, award ceremonies and performances. The studio can also support messages from senior leaders and events featuring several speakers.

The space includes a customisable stage set, with a seamless backdrop available in plain white, printed colour or LED video wall formats. Stage furniture and different AV arrangements allow organisers to tailor the look of the room to their programme or branding. Production facilities include broadcast-quality HD cameras, a digital sound system, radio microphones, stage lighting, an 80-inch 4K screen and presenter comfort screens. Presentation switchers and streaming encoders support the technical setup, while a green room gives presenters somewhere to prepare before going on stage. Parking is available on site.

Istead AV's technicians can support the event from the studio, covering audio, video, lighting and camera operation, with a production manager overseeing delivery. Streams can be sent to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook Live or Zoom, integrated into an organiser's existing website, or delivered through a bespoke secure webpage. The production can mix camera feeds with presentation slides, include remote presenters and audience questions, or use pre-recorded material presented as a live broadcast.

For event planners, the studio offers a staffed, equipped location for producing an online programme without relying on presenters' own offices or meeting rooms. Its adaptable set and technical support make it suitable for both straightforward business broadcasts and more produced presentations or performances.
