Paradise Charter Cruises and Minneapolis Queen

Paradise Charter Cruises and the Minneapolis Queen offer private boat charters for organisers looking for a distinctive setting on Lake Minnetonka or the Mississippi River. Their fleet includes vessels departing from Excelsior and Minneapolis, with options for gatherings ranging from smaller groups to larger celebrations. The boats provide indoor spaces and open-air views, so guests can enjoy the water and surrounding scenery while they meet, dine or celebrate.

The service is suited to weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, showers, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions and other personal occasions. Businesses can also arrange client entertaining, employee appreciation events, department parties, board meetings, seminars and team outings. A cruise coordinator helps organisers plan the details, including the boat, schedule, menu and event requirements. Wedding-specific packages and support are available for couples planning a celebration aboard.

Depending on the charter, organisers can choose meal and drinks options, from appetisers and buffets to seated dining and bar service. Boats are equipped with guest areas for dining and socialising, and some have presentation equipment useful for corporate events. Public sightseeing and themed cruises are also offered, with seasonal schedules and group booking options. For a private event, the cruise itself forms part of the venue experience, combining time on the water with a hosted space for guests. Organisers can contact the team to discuss availability, group size, vessel choices and suitable arrangements for their event.
