Kapschuur in Stadskanaal offers groups a rural setting to get together, celebrate and enjoy activities. The venue is suitable for birthdays, family celebrations, receptions and company outings. Inside, there are several welcoming rooms, including a living room with a bar, wood-burning stove and large tables. The adjoining garden room, conservatory and terrace provide extra space for welcoming guests. For meetings, there is a homely setting for groups of around 25 people, with internet, a flip chart, and coffee or tea.
Organisers can combine a gathering with food and drink. Options include barbecue packages, a luxury barbecue, making and baking pizzas together, and birthday packages with snacks and drinks. The arrangements can be tailored to the occasion and group size.
There are also various options for an active programme. Groups can choose from traditional Dutch games, klootschieten, Highland Games and an expedition with activities in the surrounding area. These activities can be combined with a meal, so a company outing or family day can take place at one venue. A silent disco is available as an extra for a party.
The green surroundings and on-site accommodation make it possible to extend your visit. Guests can stay in rooms, hikers' cabins or other accommodation on the grounds. Kapschuur is a versatile venue for organisers looking to combine a party, meeting or group outing with hospitality, activities and an informal atmosphere.
