Hemsley House

Hemsley House is a historic event venue in Salford, offering function spaces for weddings, private celebrations, memorial gatherings and business events. Its characterful setting is close to Manchester city centre, with several suites that organisers can use for different parts of an occasion.

For weddings, the venue offers exclusive hire, with spaces for an on-site ceremony, dining and evening celebrations. The Worsley Suite can host ceremonies for up to 96 guests, while the Rink Suite is arranged for dining and can accommodate larger evening receptions. The Walker Suite provides a bar and a relaxed place for guests to meet. Wedding packages include catering, with menus prepared by the in-house kitchen.

The suites are also available for birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, baby showers, engagement parties, retirement celebrations, graduations and funeral receptions. Food options range from three-course meals and buffets to afternoon tea and light refreshments. Organisers can discuss menus and dietary needs with the team.

For companies and professional organisers, Hemsley House has two dedicated first-floor conference suites, each suitable for meetings, training, presentations and networking for up to 25 delegates. Refreshments and catering can be arranged, and the larger ground-floor suite offers an option for events with more attendees.

The venue provides on-site parking and has accessible entry from the rear car park. Private viewings are available by appointment, giving organisers the opportunity to see the rooms and discuss the format, guest numbers and arrangements for their event.
