Die Haflingerweiber host children's birthday parties with horses, games and refreshments at their Haflingeralm in the west of Munich. As well as individual birthday groups, the offering is aimed at nursery and preschool groups, primary school classes, after-school care groups and day-care groups. The celebrations take place in a natural setting between Gröbenzell and Lochhausen, giving children time to play and enjoy experiences together.
There are various packages for birthday parties. The shorter option lasts two and a half hours, while the longer one lasts three and a half hours. Both combine supervised games with guided pony rides. The programme also includes a birthday cake, drinks and snacks. With the longer package, organisers can choose from a range of meals, including a picnic, grilled sausages, soup, Käsespätzle or hot dogs. A photo CD is also included in the packages described. Requests can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
The activities are designed for different times of year. When the weather is suitable, children can play outside and spend time with the horses. A large converted horsebox is available as a sheltered place to spend time when conditions are less favourable. The operators emphasise that they have experience and qualifications in working with children and horses. Children with mild physical disabilities are also welcome, and suitable options should be discussed in advance.
According to the provider, Haflingeralm also offers stable days and holiday programmes in addition to children's birthday parties. Birthday party dates are regularly available at weekends and must be requested. Die Haflingerweiber are therefore a suitable choice for event planners looking for a supervised, horse-focused outdoor experience for groups of children.
