The Core Theatre Solihull

The Core Theatre is a town-centre venue in Solihull offering several spaces for organisers to hire. Its main auditorium seats 336 and has a stage, technical facilities and front-of-house support, making it suitable for theatre productions, concerts, comedy, talks and other ticketed events. The venue also operates a smaller, adaptable studio for performances, workshops and gatherings.

For exhibitions, creative activities and smaller events, organisers can enquire about hiring the Courtyard Gallery. The venue sets out hire arrangements for each space, with options by session or for longer periods where available. Technical support and front-of-house staffing are included in some theatre hire arrangements, while equipment, ticketing and publicity services can be discussed separately.

The venue's box office manages ticketing for hired performances, and hirers can arrange for their event to be listed on the theatre's website. Encore, the on-site eatery, can provide catering for meetings and events, including buffets, drinks receptions and food before or after a performance. This gives organisers the option to combine a hired space with hospitality in the same building.

Located in the Touchwood area of Solihull, The Core Theatre is a practical choice for promoters, community groups, businesses and creative organisations seeking a staffed performance venue or exhibition space. Organisers can contact the venue team to discuss availability, technical requirements, catering and the arrangements for their event.
