Tall Timbers Retreat & Lodge

Set among 30 wooded acres near Nacogdoches, Tall Timbers Retreat & Lodge offers event space and on-site accommodation for organisers planning weddings, retreats, reunions and private gatherings. The property combines several furnished cabins with Rose Hall, an indoor event and dining space that can be booked with a wider stay or, subject to availability, separately.

For weddings, the venue is designed around a relaxed, multi-day gathering. Couples can reserve the full property, use designated outdoor locations for their ceremony and hold a reception in Rose Hall. The hall also provides an indoor option if the weather changes, and its flexible layout gives organisers room to shape the occasion around their plans. Outside suppliers are welcome, and amplified music is permitted.

The cabins allow guests to stay together on site, with shared kitchens and common areas alongside private places to rest. This arrangement can suit groups who want more time together before and after the main event, without arranging separate accommodation elsewhere. The property also welcomes organisers planning retreats and family gatherings, with space for meals, meetings and informal activities.

The grounds offer room to spend time outdoors, with wooded surroundings, open playing fields and leisure activities including volleyball and horseshoes. Organisers can enquire about hiring Rose Hall alone, combining it with selected cabins or booking the full property. Tall Timbers is a flexible choice for gatherings where the event space, overnight stays and outdoor setting are all part of the same plan.
