Larson's Barn LLC

Larson's Barn is a rustic event venue in McGregor, Minnesota, set on 80 acres overlooking Rat Lake. Organisers can hire the barn and its grounds for weddings, receptions, family reunions, graduations, anniversaries, proms, showers and other private celebrations. The property offers a countryside setting and flexibility to style the space, from simple rustic decor to a more formal celebration.

The barn and outdoor grounds can accommodate events of up to 299 guests. Couples can arrange their ceremony on the grounds or indoors, followed by a reception in the barn. Weekend packages provide access across three days, allowing time for decorating, a rehearsal, the event itself and collection afterwards. A groom's dinner can also be hosted as part of the weekend. Smaller gatherings, weekday bookings and ceremony-only options can be discussed with the venue.

Accommodation and camping make it possible for guests to stay on site. Lodging options include rooms in the barn, a farmhouse and a rustic cabin, with sleeping capacity varying by property. Camping is available with electric hook-ups, water access and a dump station, while parking is available for event guests. The venue also has a bar and a catering service area, and organisers can ask about the arrangements for food and drinks when planning their booking.

Established in 1971, Larson's Barn has a long history of dances and gatherings. Its mix of indoor event space, outdoor scenery and on-site stay options makes it suited to multi-day weddings and relaxed celebrations where guests can spend more time together. Tours are available by appointment, and organisers can enquire directly about dates, packages and event requirements.
