't Fort van Koningshooikt

Donderheide 3, 2500 Lier, Belgium

't Fort van Koningshooikt rents out a versatile event venue on the grounds of a historic fort in Lier. The space is suitable for a wide range of private and association events, such as a family celebration, anniversary, reception or gathering. It can accommodate up to 225 people. Mobile screens and an adaptable layout make it possible to tailor the venue to the size and format of the event.
The venue has a terrace overlooking the water and the authentic bridge. The basic hire package includes use of the venue, toilets and terrace. Organisers can choose a more comprehensive package with a kitchen, tables and chairs. A DJ set-up is also available as an optional extra. The venue also has a bar and fridges, with a selection of soft drinks, hot drinks, beers, cava and wine. You are welcome to bring in your own caterer. If required, the venue can also help coordinate catering and other suppliers.
The unique setting within the fort's moat gives gatherings a character that sets them apart from a standard event venue. Organisers can arrange many things themselves or discuss the practical details in advance. Hire prices and included facilities depend on the package chosen and the duration of the event. An online calendar shows which dates are available or already being held as an option. This allows organisers to view the venue and its facilities before making an enquiry.
