Big Poppa Farms

Big Poppa Farms is an animal rescue and rehabilitation farm in Parkland, Florida, that also welcomes private event bookings. It offers a distinctive setting for children's birthday parties and tea parties, with the farm's rescued animals and rustic surroundings giving gatherings a character quite different from a conventional party room.

The birthday party package includes use of a decorated barn, a petting zoo and pony rides. Practical facilities include a commercial refrigerator and freezer, a Bluetooth sound system, an air-conditioned room for supplies, a handwashing station and a separate bathroom. Organisers can also ask about add-ons such as tables and chairs, a hay ride, a horse cart or time with a draft horse. Availability and arrangements can be discussed when booking.

For a smaller or more traditional gathering, the Shabby Chic Tea Room is offered for tea parties, with a rustic yet refined style. Private barn tours are also available for groups wanting to meet the animals, though these are separate from venue hire.

Events at the farm help support its work caring for rescued animals, including their food, shelter and veterinary needs. This makes the venue especially suited to family celebrations where guests would enjoy an animal-focused setting. Visits and bookings are by appointment, so organisers should arrange their plans in advance rather than arriving without notice. Big Poppa Farms is best considered for intimate, distinctive gatherings, particularly children's birthdays and tea parties, with optional farm activities adding to the occasion.
