The Station - Kern County Fire Fighters

The Station is a Bakersfield venue available to hire for weddings, receptions, private celebrations and business events. Its main hall has an industrial-inspired look, with distinctive furnishings and decorative details that give organisers a ready-made setting for both relaxed gatherings and more formal occasions. The venue also has an outdoor patio, offering an additional area for guests or a change of scene during an event.

The space is used for wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, holiday celebrations, reunions and fundraisers. Businesses can enquire about corporate events, staff parties, training sessions and classes, making the venue suitable for more than social occasions. Organisers can discuss their event requirements with the venue team and arrange a tour by appointment.

Facilities include tables and chairs, movable furniture and audio-visual equipment, with screens available for presentations or other visual content. The adaptable layout allows organisers to arrange the room around their event, whether they are planning a seated celebration, a gathering with a presentation or a social occasion that makes use of both indoor and outdoor areas. The Station also mentions kitchen facilities and a place to barbecue among the features guests have used.

The venue is operated by Kern County Fire Fighters Union 1301, with an event coordinator available to help with enquiries. The team invites prospective clients to get in touch about availability, venue tours and the details of their planned event. The Station is located in Bakersfield, California, and offers a distinctive local option for couples, families, community groups and businesses seeking a private event space.
