The Ark Newmarket

The Ark is a nightclub and entertainment venue on Newmarket High Street, offering a lively setting for both its own programme and privately organised events. Organisers can enquire about hiring the whole venue or reserving a section, with the space arranged to suit the occasion. The venue states that it can accommodate events for up to 650 people, making it an option for larger celebrations and gatherings as well as regular club nights and shows.

Its private-hire offer is described as suitable for corporate functions, live music, sports events and public speaking. The team also considers one-off bookings and recurring hires for shows or club events, with arrangements discussed directly to establish how the space can work for each booking. This flexible approach may suit organisers looking for a high-energy setting rather than a conventional meeting room or formal function space.

The Ark's entertainment programme includes live music, bands, comedy, sports and club nights. Organisers can therefore consider the venue for events where a nightlife atmosphere and entertainment-led setting are part of the plan. VIP booths are also available, with details provided on enquiry. The venue is in a prominent central Newmarket location and occupies a refurbished building with a history as a cinema and dance hall. For event planners comparing venues in Suffolk, The Ark offers private hire, adaptable use of its space and an established club atmosphere. Enquiries can be made to discuss capacity, the areas available and the requirements of a proposed event.
