Browning Building

The Browning Building is a county-operated venue at Pinecliff Park in Frederick, Maryland, available to hire for private gatherings, celebrations and meetings. Its indoor spaces can be booked together or used separately, giving organisers options for different group sizes and layouts. The whole building has a maximum capacity of 100 people. The Pine Room includes a fireplace, while the Round Room offers a second gathering space. An outdoor amphitheatre on the grounds provides an alternative setting for activities or part of an event, subject to the organiser's plans and the venue's rules.

Tables and chairs are provided, and the kitchen includes a refrigerator and warming oven. It is intended for reheating food rather than cooking, so organisers should arrange catering and bring any required utensils and serving supplies. Restrooms are located within the building. The venue is set within a public park, where guests can also find outdoor amenities such as picnic areas, trails and playgrounds.

Building rentals are offered on Saturdays and Sundays, generally from 10 am to 10 pm, with reservations accepted up to a year ahead. The facility is not available for public hire during the summer camp period, which typically runs from mid-June through Labor Day. Renters must be at least 21, and are responsible for cleaning and returning the rooms to their original condition.
