Stablegate Lodge

Stablegate Lodge is an intimate event venue at Stablegate Farm and Vineyard in Castleton-on-Hudson, within easy reach of Albany. Its rustic character comes from vaulted redwood ceilings, a fossil-stone fireplace and views across the surrounding countryside. The lodge offers a distinctive setting for couples and event planners looking for a relaxed alternative to a traditional ballroom.

The venue is suited to intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, baby showers, university formals, holiday parties and other private or corporate gatherings. Inside, a sunroom opens towards the grounds, giving guests a natural connection with the outdoor setting. A garden patio provides space for a cocktail reception, while fire pits offer an inviting option for guests to gather later in the day. The property’s fields, pond and farm surroundings also create opportunities for outdoor activities and photographs.

Event facilities include dimmable lighting, Wi-Fi, audio connections and speakers, giving organisers useful options for music and presentations. The venue can host seated or standing events, with the room layout tailored to the occasion. Wedding planners can explore the lodge as part of Stablegate Farm’s wider collection of event spaces and ceremony locations.

Stablegate Lodge is part of the Birch Hill hospitality group, whose team also provides catering and event support. Organisers can discuss food, service and the practical details of their event with the team when enquiring. Whether planning a small wedding celebration, a family gathering or a company event, the lodge combines indoor comfort with outdoor space in a countryside setting.
