Richwood on the River

Richwood on the River is a historic estate venue in Milton, Kentucky, offering a private setting for weddings, retreats and other gatherings. The property brings event spaces, landscaped grounds and overnight accommodation together, giving organisers the option to host several parts of an event in one place.

Couples can use the estate for their rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception, with outdoor ceremony locations and indoor spaces available for celebrations. The Carriage House can host receptions, while the grounds provide room for outdoor gatherings. The venue offers wedding packages with private use of the property over a two-night period, as well as weekday options. Its accommodation includes mansion suites, cottages and apartments, allowing guests to stay on site and spend more time together around the occasion.

The venue also welcomes groups planning retreats, reunions and private events. Its historic setting, views towards the Ohio River and quieter outdoor areas provide a change of pace for gatherings focused on conversation and time together. Organisers can enquire about the available spaces and arrange a tour to explore how the property could suit their plans.

For weddings, the on-site team provides event support, including assistance with the schedule and coordination on the day. The venue shares preferred supplier recommendations and offers planning tools to help clients organise the event. Capacity varies by space and setup, so organisers can discuss guest numbers, accommodation needs and event arrangements with the team before booking.
