Collingwood Hall
- 15 Barnsley Street, London E1 5RB, United Kingdom
Collingwood Hall is a community venue in east London, managed by the Collingwood Tenants and Residents Association. Available to hire for commercial, personal and community use, it welcomes organisers from beyond the local estate as well as nearby residents. The hall is positioned between Bethnal Green and Whitechapel, with both Tube stations within walking distance.
The flexible main space can accommodate around 100 people and is suited to social occasions, meetings, classes and other one-off or regular gatherings. Moveable partitions allow the room to be divided for smaller groups or simultaneous activities, giving organisers options for different layouts and uses. Tables and chairs are available, and the venue also has sofas and a pool table.
A fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, stove, preparation space and refrigeration. Outside, there is a patio and additional outdoor space, along with a children’s play area. These facilities make the hall a practical choice for family gatherings and community functions where guests may need room to relax, eat or take part in activities.
The association’s website lists separate hourly rates for social events, meetings and kitchen use. A cleaning deposit and advance payment apply, and events must finish by 10 pm. Alcohol and fireworks are not permitted in or immediately outside the building, and organisers are asked to keep noise at a considerate level. A Centre Manager is available to assist users and look after the building. Contact the association directly to discuss availability, specific requirements and booking arrangements.
