The Laurelhurst Club

The Laurelhurst Club is a historic Portland venue available to hire for weddings, family celebrations, fundraisers, company events and other gatherings. Its early twentieth-century character is paired with a refreshed interior, giving organisers a light-filled setting with traditional details and flexible spaces.

The main indoor area covers 5,300 square feet. Its ballroom has a hardwood dance floor, exposed ceiling beams and a curtained stage, and can seat up to 150 guests or host up to 250 standing. A reception area, mezzanine overlooking the ballroom, kitchen and dressing rooms provide useful additional spaces for guests and event preparation. The kitchen is equipped for food preparation and warming, while organisers can choose their own caterers, decorators, photographers and other suppliers.

Outside, the courtyard and garden offer a setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions, with a stage, pathway and landscaped grounds. The courtyard can seat up to 100 for a ceremony, and the adjoining lawn can provide more room for informal gatherings. Laurelhurst Park, directly across the street, offers another nearby setting for photographs.

The venue also welcomes business meetings and retreats, creative and film industry events, workshops and community occasions. Its open layout allows organisers to arrange the space around their plans, whether they are hosting a seated dinner, a standing reception or a ceremony followed by a celebration.
