Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts

The Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts is a large, multi-purpose venue in Mansfield, Texas, with spaces for performances, conferences, training sessions and other organised events. Its main feature is a seated performance hall with a stage and adaptable seating configurations. The central section can accommodate around 4,200 people for productions, while two separate lecture halls provide smaller auditorium-style spaces for presentations and sessions.

Alongside the performance facilities, the centre has a professional development area with a banquet room for up to 500 guests. The room can be divided into as many as six breakout spaces, giving organisers options for meetings, workshops or programmes that combine larger and smaller groups. Three computer labs, each designed for groups of up to 30, are also available for technology training and presentations.

The venue lists audio-visual and lighting facilities, technical support for computer lab use, and the option to arrange catering for an additional fee. Its location includes extensive free parking, with around 2,000 spaces, as well as accessible facilities. The combination of a large auditorium, breakout rooms, training labs and a banquet area gives event planners several formats to consider within one site.

The centre is part of Mansfield Independent School District and serves the district and surrounding community. Its current booking page says it is not accepting new events at this time, so organisers should check directly for updated availability before making plans.
