De Hooischuur is a countryside venue in Boortmeerbeek where groups can combine outdoor activities with a celebration, a meeting or a team-building event. The farm is next to the Pikhakendonk nature reserve, with meadows and peaceful countryside as a backdrop. The main activity is farm golf: participants play a ten-hole course in teams or individually. The activity is suitable for groups of eight or more and takes place by appointment. The venue can put together tailor-made packages for businesses.

Alongside the meadows, a former barn has been converted into a space for celebrations and gatherings. It is suitable for small family celebrations and can also be used for a presentation, brainstorming session, round-table discussion or meeting during team-building events. This allows organisers to combine a programme with a purpose with a group activity in the open air. The barn has a bar, a private garden and a terrace, among other features. A floor plan is available to help with the practical layout.

De Hooischuur also offers food and drink as part of the farm golf experience. Options include cheeses, fine meats, seasonal salads and bread from a local baker, or a homemade regional classic. The owners tailor packages and event formats to each group. Activities usually take place during the day, between 9 am and 6 pm. Businesses are provided with a quotation. The venue is easy to reach from Mechelen and Leuven and is within walking distance of Boortmeerbeek station. De Hooischuur is therefore a countryside venue for organisers who want to combine an informal group activity with space to socialise or meet.
